For the Public

With informational materials, news on the DSI homepage, talks, exhibitions, workshops and many other activities, we keep you informed about the many different aspects of the SOFIA project. We want to inspire a passion for science and technical topics especially in young people, but also in teachers, the media, and the public. Teachers at German schools or other educational institutions have the opportunity to apply to visit SOFIA in California and even go on a science flight. After the flight, they share their excitement and their knowledge with their students.
