SOFIA Cycle 1 Observations - Time Allocation Commitee Results

We are finally able to post the results of the Time Allocation Committee meeting held on April 16/17 in Stuttgart.

SOFIA Cycle 1 Observations - Phase 1: Call for Proposals

SOFIA Science Demonstration Time - Selected Proposals Announced

Phase 1 of the German Call for Proposals for SOFIA Science Demonstration Time has ended on March 21.

Of the 22 proposals submitted, 18 requested observing time with GREAT and 4 requested observing time with FORCAST.

These proposals have been reviewed for technical feasibility by the DSI and the FORCAST and GREAT instrument teams as well as for scientific merit by an independent review panel. The results of the selection process have been announced, and the list of proposals eligible to enter Phase 2 for SOFIA Science Demonstration can be found here.
